Jessica Rovello

CEO,
Arkadium
Jessica’s Arkadium helps +500 top publishers create interactive content to attract and keep readers, which helps them boost ad revenue. Clients include Associated Press, Sports Illustrated, CNN, USA Today, Slam Media Inc, and others. Jessica is a winner of the American Business Award for Executive of the Year, the Stevie Award for Entrepreneur of Year, and was named a Crain’s New York “40 Under 40” winner. She’s a regular speaker at events by Inc. and VentureBeat, among others. She has been featured in Forbes, Inc., Entrepreneur, USA Today, Business Insider, and more. In 2016, Jessica Rovello was on the cover of Inc. magazine when her company, Arkadium, was named its first-ever "Best Workplace." This was unthinkable 2 years prior, when Russia almost killed Jess’s business.

Arkadium used to be a mobile gaming company. In 2014, Russia invaded Crimea. Arkadium had its biggest game studio there – with more than 100 people. Overnight, it became Russian territory, with armed occupiers knocking on doors and verifying identities. Arkadium had to get out to survive. As geopolitics tore a hole in its side, Jess switched roles with her co-founder – her husband – where she stepped into the CEO job for the first time. Jess made the hard decision to stop making mobile games and shifted to making AI tools for the world’s biggest publishers like USA Today, CNN and The Washington Post. Now, they have more than 500 customers with one of the most recognized workplaces in the US.
