Shannon has spent 20 years on the forefront of leading global clients, teams, and marketing organizations in creating and co-creating brand experiences that re-imagine and bring to life how brands connect with their audiences. Passionate about using audience data and insights aligned to brand values, culture, trends, and technology, she is constant pursuit to create the most impactful ecosystem experiences where audiences are already spending their time. As the Global Chief Content Officer of Stagwelll Media Network, Shannon partners with clients to envision and execute measurable omni-channel content-led media experiences in everything from traditional publisher environments to Web 3.0. Prior to her roles at Stagwell/MDC Partners, Shannon has been recognized and held roles as the CMO of The Honest Company, as well as the Co-founder and President of Denstu’s The Story Lab and Carat’s Chief Content Officer, where she stewarded the organization in creating award-winning content experiences for brands like Microsoft, Xbox, GM, Adidas, Disney, and others. She has also previously led integrated marketing & sales teams at global production powerhouses Fremantle Media, Mark Burnett Productions, Warner Bros, and 19 Entertainment, and Octagon, where was responsible for the strategy and activation of MasterCard’s FIFA World Cup, Major League Baseball and the NFL sponsorships. Shannon graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in Japanese and got her MBA from University of Oregon’s Warsaw Sports Business Program. She is the proud mother of 3 children and spends her time doing Board Work and advocating for multiple causes, but most passionately for her daughter Emma via her son’s charity Quinn’s Cocoa $4 the Cure, dedicated to finding therapeutics and providing resources for families and individuals with Angelman Syndrome.
