President,
Studio71
Dan Weinstein is the co-founder and President of Studio71, a global media company that produces and distributes original entertainment programming. At Studio71, Weinstein leads all talent and content initiatives. He continues to oversee activities for some of the most acclaimed creators that have (and continue to) disrupt the digital landscape including Lilly Singh, Rhett & Link and Freddie Wong. Weinstein is at the forefront of what it means to engage and entertain in-demand digital audiences. His sharp business acumen and talent instincts have resulted in Studio71 joining forces with massively successful entertainment icons like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Shay Mitchell. Recognizing the importance of the emerging digital landscape and its new generation of talent, he left UTA in 2006 to join nascent Hollywood Management company The Collective. Shortly thereafter he co-founded Collective Digital Studio, which rebranded as Studio71 after its acquisition by international media company, Prosieben Sat.1.

Weinstein has more than 300 executive producer credits across film, television and digital, including the No.1 scripted series on YouTube, VIDEO GAME HIGH SCHOOL, THE HIGH FRUCTOSE ADVENTURES OF THE ANNOYING ORANGE (Cartoon Network), EPIC MEAL EMPIRE (FYI) and RHETT AND LINK’S BUDDY SYSTEM (YouTube Red).

Weinstein’s expertise in digital media and talent innovation has earned him honors such as The Hollywood Reporter Next Gen 35 under 35, VARIETY Hollywood’s New Leaders: Digital and VARIETY Hollywood New Leaders: Management. As well as Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News 40 under 40.

Weinstein serves on the New Media Council for the Producers Guild of America along with the Board of Governors for the Interactive Media Council of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He’s also an inaugural blue ribbon member of The Streamy Awards.
