John Vars is the CEO of Mixhalo, the real-time audio platform delivering a high-quality, immersive experience for venues and event organizers. Passionate about the combination of network technologies, sound, using digital to enhance the real world and building up early-stage companies quickly, he’s focused on growing and evolving Mixhalo’s product vision, strategy and roadmap.
John is an accomplished product and technology leader with more than 20 years of experience working across a diverse range of industries and size. Before joining Mixhalo, he was the chief product officer at mobile-first bank Varo Money, where he led product management, design, research and data science teams to improve customers’ holistic financial situations. Prior to that, he served as chief product officer at TaskRabbit, where he helped the company achieve a 400 percent revenue growth in his first year.
In his free time, you can find John skiing in the Sierras with his wife and two young daughters or checking out live music at his favorite venues in the Bay Area.
