Javon Frazier is a digital strategist and serial techpreneur with experience in all areas of the media and entertainment industry including film, television, music, video games, publishing, web and mobile media. He built his repertoire at Marvel, where he spent close to a decade, starting in business development with the studio's theatrical division. Here Mr. Frazier helped launch Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk (approximately $850MM Worldwide BO), before rapidly moving on to the Marvel's television arm as its Marketing Director, overseeing popular animated television series including Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Iron Man: Armored Adventures and Super Hero Squad. The game-changing moment came when he was appointed Vice President, Games Marketing at Marvel Entertainment and launched over 40 games on all platforms worldwide including, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, Marvel War of Heroes, and Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Super Heroes, which generated over $750M in Revenue.
Post Marvel, Mr. Frazier forayed into digital entertainment with Studio71 US where he served as Chief Product Officer and President, Gaming. He spearheaded strategic business development for digital influencers driving transactional revenue with new product launches across various categories including apps, games, apparel, beauty and lifestyle products. He bootstrapped a multi-million-dollar Studio71 eCommerce platform that hosts over 1000 products and has serviced over 80 creators. He developed, launched and executed the Cyanide and Happiness Joking Hazard Kickstarter (3.2M) and The Binding of Isaac Kickstarter (2.7M) which is distributed in over 1700 Target stores and specialty/hobby stores nationwide. He also created a quarterly toy subscription box, which has shipped approximately 350K packages to over 57 countries worldwide. Most recently Mr. Frazier launched his own strategy and consulting firm, Maestro Media Ventures, to continue to expand his work in the digital and physical product space.
