Rouslan Ovtcharoff

Co-Founder,
Blockchain Global Entertainment Alliance
Rouslan Ovtcharoff’s expertise includes film and television production, distribution, advertising, virtual reality, augmented reality, interactive media and blockchain technology. His interest in blockchain began in 2017, when he saw the disruptive impact distributed ledger technology, smart contracts, and crypto economics would have on the ability to have a safe and secure way for people to make any type of transaction. Ovtcharoff has served as head of international marketing at Millennium Media since 2013 where he oversees marketing and publicity for all the company’s upcoming titles including "Hellboy," "Angel Has Fallen," "Rambo 5" and past titles such as "Hunter Killer," "Hitman’s Bodyguard," "London Has Fallen," "Expendables 3" and "Mechanic Resurrection." He joined Millennium Films in 2006 after graduating from California State University Los Angeles, where he majored in Television, Film, and Media. Involved in numerous independent films over the last fifteen years, Ovtcharoff’s 2012 documentary, "The Resort," about one of the first World War II concentration camps used by the Nazis as a propaganda tool, won the highest award for creative excellence at the 45th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival. "The Resort" was also an official selection at the 36th Montreal World Film Festival and has been archived in the Visual Center at Yad Vashem Museum of the Holocaust in Jerusalem. Ovtcharoff is a co-founder of the Blockchain Global Entertainment Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting blockchain education, adoption and common standards in the entertainment industry.
