As Executive Vice President of Digital Sales and Strategy, Brandon Squar is responsible for driving global digital revenue for ADA and it’s independent artist labels and partners. He and his global team focus on strategies to give the ADA roster of independent labels the resources they need to succeed in the everchanging digital marketplace including analysis, digital reporting, and account management.
Since being promoted to his current role over a year ago, Brandon has laid the groundwork for a digital transformation at the independent music company.
In the past year, he has restructured his team to better meet the needs of artists by adding resources to support the growing streaming environment and to maximize relationships with digital accounts globally. Thanks in part to Brandon’s efforts, ADA’s international revenues have doubled in the last two years with that trajectory on path to continue.
He has also been instrumental in creating and growing the popular Indie Mixtape brand, a platform for independent labels and artists to increase consumption through exposure in playlists tailored for fans.
In recognition of his position in the music industry, Brandon was recently named one of Billboard’s 2017 Digital Power Players.
With over two decades of experience, Brandon brings enthusiasm and expertise to developing ADA’s digital strategies. He is a true music fan who understands how to harness new technology to best serve our independent labels and artists.
