FIRESIDE CHAT: The Future of eSports – The Team Owner’s Perspective
A long time veteran of the entertainment world, Marty Strenczewilk is founder and CEO of Splyce, one of the largest professional esports teams in the world, with players competing at the top level in nine games across North America, Latin America, Europe and South Korea. 2016 was the most successful year for Splyce yet, with the Call of Duty team making the Grand Finals of the World Championship (The Forum, Los Angeles), the League of Legends team making the European Summer Finals (Tauron Arena, Krakow, Poland), and the World of Warcraft team winning the World Championship (Anaheim Convention Center, California).  In this fireside chat, we’ll hear Marty’s thoughts about the business and the future of eSports.
