Jon Vlassopulos is the founder and CEO of Tribalist, a new shoppable list discovery and publishing platform. They make it simple and fun to create shoppable lists of what you love (currently covering entertainment & lifestyle categories) – “A Pinterest for Lists”. He is also the Managing Partner of A-Force Ventures, an early stage venture capital fund that invests in consumer startups with a focus on female founders. Over his 22 year career, Jon has created successful industry firsts in the areas of mobile, games, advertising, TV and music. Prior to founding Tribalist, Jon was CEO of award winning, mobile entertainment studio skyrockit, managing major US carrier content platforms for companies like Sprint and building innovative branded entertainment products and experiences for Fortune 500 brands. Before skyrockit, Jon was the SVP and Digital Board members at Endemol Shine, where he was responsible for its worldwide digital & advertising business working on shows like Deal or No Deal and producing some of the first online and live interactive shows. Prior to Endemol, Jon helped to build the US mobile content and messaging business at AT&T Wireless. Before Endemol, Jon lead M&A and investments for the multi billion dollar global media company Bertelsmann. He started his career in the music industry at BMG based in Hong Kong and Tokyo managing Digital Media for Asia Pacific. He was a board member of NATPE, MMA and the PGA and is a sought after speaking at digital media conferences around the world.
